   The part where the lid attaches to the hinge broke off. EKO USA says they will not send replacement parts to the UAE, so why even sell it in these places? The dealer has closed shop so obviously is unreachable, and Jeff as always is reticent to do anything that is beneficial for his customer.Daylight robbery is what it is.

   Bin is fine for the most part but major, ridiculous design flaw is that the smaller compartment for food waste has a metal handle and it attaches to the bin INSIDE the compartment! Hence these rip holes into both sides of your full bin bag as you’re struggling to pull it out! Honestly if they did any kind of UAT they would have noticed this.

   Very well thought out. I’m really impressed with this trash can.
   I’ve only had this for 2 weeks but I’m really liking it. The measurements from the description are spot-on. The shipping packaging around it was awesome, but it did have a tiny dent on the top, probably from the pail shifting in transit (no packing inside the can) but I’m keeping it anyway. Many reviews say it’s small, but it’s really pretty big. We are a 2 adult household. We don’t drink sodas or milk (not much plastic or soda cans), and not much prepared foods or fast foods… maybe that will give you an idea what our kitchen garbage can be. This can will hold a week of garbage and a week of recycle items with some room to spare. When I throw away an item on either side, the foot controlled lid is slow to close so I’ve found that I can toss stuff in there and it’s NEVER hit the floor instead! Also the totally flat surface comes in handy from time to time! Another nice feature … I can take the garbage side and the recycle side outside at the same time since the recycle side has a pail handle! And since neither side is huge (garbage side takes an 8 gallon bag perfectly and you can’t see it when the lid is shut) I’m not straining my back to carry it. The lid lock is handy when I’m removing the pails… don’t have to touch the lids. Lastly it looks so CLEAN and functional. I think this is totally worth the price. Since I figure 60 bags will last me over a year at the rate I empty this can I splurged and bought these on Amazon for $18 … OKKEAI Trash Bags 8 Gallon Biodegradable Garbage Bags Thicker 0.98 MIL Compost Bags Wastebasket Liners for Kitchen Office, Lawn,Bathroom,60 Count (Fits 7-10 Gallon Bins). They fit perfectly, the color matches the recycle side (OCD wife and even she will admit it) and I feel good about my little contribution to our planet.

   Good!!
   Really good dupe for the simple life one. Basically the same and way cheaper! Would recommend for anyone.The bins are smaller as a btw but I prefer to take my trash out frequently so it’s not an issue for me.

   Easy to set up & use
   I love this trash/recycle bin. It was easy to set up. All I had to do was attach the pedals to it & it was a “snap”. Easy to clean & it’s closing lids are quiet.

   Looks good, works well
   Good quality, easy to use, convenient step for opening. Overall happy with the product. When it arrived the side was dented a bit, but it popped right out. Looks flawless now, no dents.

   Hinge broken after 1 month
   great looking trash can but the hinge broke after 5 weeks of usage! not durable at all for the money.
